Author Guidelines & Journal Policies
Authors should review the Journal’s submission, formatting, ethics, and disclosure requirements before preparing a manuscript. Submissions must be original, relevant to CIJFMR’s scope, and presented in clear academic language. Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year and proceed to editorial screening before double-blind peer review.
Manuscript preparation
Manuscripts should be submitted as editable Microsoft Word files and prepared for anonymous review. Authors should remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and other identifying details from the main manuscript file. Each submission should include: a concise and informative title; an abstract summarising the purpose, approach, principal findings, and contribution; four to six relevant keywords; clearly organised headings and subheadings; appropriately labelled tables and figures; complete and consistently formatted references; a separate title page containing author names, affiliations, email addresses, and corresponding-author details. Authors should use clear British English and ensure that quotations, data, tables, figures, and third-party materials are accurately cited. The Journal’s detailed word limits, citation style, file specifications, and article-type requirements will be published in the complete submission guidelines.

Integrity and declarations
Every submission must comply with recognised standards of research and publication ethics. Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, legality, and integrity of their work. Where applicable, manuscripts must include declarations covering: authorship and individual contributions; competing or conflicting interests; research ethics approval and informed consent; funding and sponsor involvement; availability of data, materials, and supporting evidence; permission to reproduce copyrighted content; use of artificial intelligence tools in research or manuscript preparation. All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution to the work, approved the submitted version, and accepted responsibility for its contents. Artificial intelligence tools must not be identified as authors. Any permitted use of such tools must be disclosed transparently, and authors remain fully accountable for the manuscript.
