Submission Guidelines

A complete submission combines one complete manuscript, an ordered record for every author and the declarations needed for responsible review. The editorial office prepares the blinded reviewer copy.

Rolling submissions

Prepare once, submit with confidence.

CIJFMR accepts manuscripts throughout the year through its authorised online portal.

Confidential manuscript files should never be sent through personal messaging accounts, unofficial profiles, unverified payment links or unauthorised third parties.

01 / Eligibility

Confirm scope, originality and author approval

The principal research question should fall within Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, Management or a meaningful intersection. Manuscripts outside scope may be declined before external review.

  • The work is original and not published in substantially the same form
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal
  • All authors approve the submission and author list
  • Related theses, preprints, conference papers or working papers are disclosed
  • Necessary permissions and declarations have been completed
02 / Preparation

Review copyPrepared by editorial staff

Use clear headings, consistent paragraphs, numbered pages where possible, legible typography and one recognised citation system. Decorative formatting should not obstruct review.

03 / Disclosure

Complete the research declarations

Ethics and consent

Identify the approving body, reference and consent process where required, or explain why formal review was not applicable.

Funding

Name funding sources, grant numbers and any role played by a funder.

Competing interests

Disclose financial, professional, institutional, personal or legal interests relevant to the work.

Data availability

State whether supporting data are public, available subject to conditions, restricted for legitimate reasons or not applicable.

Generative AI

Disclose material use affecting scholarly creation, analysis or presentation. AI cannot assume authorship responsibility.

Rights and permissions

Secure any permission required for third-party text, images, maps, tables or other protected material.

04 / Portal

Submit through the authorised system

The corresponding author creates or uses a verified account, enters complete manuscript and contributor metadata, uploads the required files, reviews declarations and receives a permanent manuscript reference after final submission.

Security: submitted files are private, quarantined and checked before authorised editorial access. Keep the generated manuscript reference for future tracking and correspondence.

05 / Evaluation

Initial screening and peer review

Editors may screen completeness, scope, scholarly suitability, originality indicators, ethics, authorship, citations and compliance. Authorised staff then prepare and verify an identity-protected review copy. A manuscript may be returned for correction or declined at this stage.

01

Technical review

Complete file, author metadata and declarations

02

Editorial anonymisation

Staff-prepared and verified blinded copy

03

Editorial assessment

Scope, contribution and readiness

04

Reviewer selection

Relevant expertise without compromising conflicts

05

Double-blind review

Independent evaluation of the approved blinded copy

06

Editorial decision

A reasoned outcome based on the complete record

Similarity tools may assist assessment, but no numerical score automatically establishes plagiarism. Editors consider the nature, location, context and explanation of overlap.

06 / Outcome

Revision, acceptance and production

When revision is invited, submit a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response identifying where changes were made. A reasoned scholarly disagreement may be explained instead of silently disregarding a comment.

Revision

Return within the period specified in the editorial communication, or request additional time before the deadline.

Acceptance

Exists only when the Journal communicates a formal acceptance decision after required assessment.

Production

May include copyediting, typesetting, proofing, metadata verification, licensing and DOI registration where available.

Withdrawal before publication requires a reasoned request and may require confirmation from every author. Withdrawal does not automatically end a research-integrity investigation.

07 / Final review
