Published research is open to read.
CIJFMR makes its scholarly articles available through the Journal website from publication, subject to the licence and any clearly identified third-party rights.
All scholarly articles published by CIJFMR are intended to be available online immediately without a subscription, reading charge, or registration barrier. Readers may access, download, share, and reuse published material subject to the licence displayed with the article and any separately identified third-party rights. Open access does not remove requirements concerning attribution, privacy, confidentiality, moral rights, trademarks, or material excluded from the article’s licence.
Free access from the time of publication
Readers are not required to purchase an individual article or maintain an institutional subscription to access CIJFMR's open scholarly content. Open access supports research, teaching, professional practice and public understanding across jurisdictions and institutions.
CC BY 4.0 is the default article licence
Unless a different licence is expressly displayed for a particular item, the default licence for CIJFMR scholarly articles is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

Authors retain copyright
Authors retain copyright in their scholarly articles, subject to third-party rights and the rights granted to CIJFMR for publication. The Journal is authorised to publish and identify the version of record, distribute and preserve it, maintain its metadata, register identifiers where applicable, and attach corrections or retraction notices.
Sharing is encouraged within the displayed licence
Authors may ordinarily share the version of record through repositories, academic websites, research profiles, teaching environments and other lawful scholarly channels. The CIJFMR publication should be cited.
Photographs, figures, maps, datasets, artwork and other third-party material may carry separate restrictions. A credit line or rights statement takes priority where it expressly excludes material from the article licence. Users must determine whether separate permission is required.
Reader access and publication charges are separate
Any approved Article Processing Charge concerns publication services, not reader access. The applicable amount, currency, waiver statement and payment route must be disclosed before liability arises. Payment cannot guarantee review, acceptance or publication.
Metadata, discovery and long-term access
Where technically supported, bibliographic metadata may be supplied to repositories, libraries, discovery systems, indexing services and scholarly infrastructure. Public indexing or identifier claims appear only after their evidence has been verified.
Open access does not reduce editorial standards. Screening, peer review, originality assessment, ethical duties and correction procedures continue to apply.
